Order of Malta and Order of the Temple – October 5, 2011
The Greensboro, High Point and Winston-Salem York Rite Bodies will confer the Order of Malta and the Order of the Temple on eleven new Knights of the Red Cross from our recent Fall York Rite Festival. This special event will be held at Castle McCulloch in Jamestown, NC on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at 6:00 PM.. We will open with a brief stated business meeting in the castle and will proceed with the ceremonies as quickly as possible.
The Castle is a unique place with all the ambience and architecture of a genuine medieval castle. This is a rare opportunity to experience the solemn and majestic ceremonies of the Order of Malta and the Order of the Temple in an authentic atmosphere. Our aim is to give our candidates the experience and prestige they deserve and the gravity and grandeur that the conferral of these Orders demand. We would like invite you to join us in this celebration, and would be honored if you would attend. All Knights Templar are welcome and cordially invited to share this memorable occasion.
