You are invited to join us for our annual York Rite Christmas Observance on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 7:00 PM. The Observance will follow a brief business meeting at 6:30 PM. NOTE: If you have a Templar uniform, please wear it.
We will observe the traditional Seasonal Toasts, share greetings from our presiding Grand Officers, and the Past Grand Master David Cash will deliver a Seasonal message. Entertainment will be provided by, “Something Borrowed, Something Blue”, an a capella group from Duke University. Refreshments will be served after the service.
The Christmas Observance is open to the public, and is a great opportunity for us to share York Rite Masonry and the joy of Christmas with family, friends and all of our Masonic brethren. Again, if you have a Templar uniform, please wear it. We look forward to seeing you there.
The Greensboro, High Point and Winston-Salem York Rite Bodies will confer the Order of Malta and the Order of the Temple on eleven new Knights of the Red Cross from our recent Fall York Rite Festival. This special event will be held at Castle McCulloch in Jamestown, NC on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at 6:00 PM.. We will open with a brief stated business meeting in the castle and will proceed with the ceremonies as quickly as possible.
The Castle is a unique place with all the ambience and architecture of a genuine medieval castle. This is a rare opportunity to experience the solemn and majestic ceremonies of the Order of Malta and the Order of the Temple in an authentic atmosphere. Our aim is to give our candidates the experience and prestige they deserve and the gravity and grandeur that the conferral of these Orders demand. We would like invite you to join us in this celebration, and would be honored if you would attend. All Knights Templar are welcome and cordially invited to share this memorable occasion. The Greensboro York Rite Bodies will hold their annual Fall Festival beginning on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at 7:30 PM at the Greensboro Masonic Temple, following a brief business meeting to be held at 7:00 PM. The Festival will continue on Saturday, September 10 starting at 8:00 AM at the Winston-Salem Masonic Temple. Lunch will be served on Saturday. For directions to the Winston-Salem Masonic Temple, please refer to the map below.
The Festival will conclude on Wednesday, October 5 with the conferral of the Order of the Temple at Castle McCulloch in Jamestown.
